「じぶん銀行スマホデビット」が「キャッシュレス決済推進」を評価され英国「Banking Technology Awards 2019」において「Best Mobile Initiative」（最優秀モバイルサービス賞）を受賞

株式会社じぶん銀行（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役社長：臼井 朋貴、以下 じぶん銀行）が2019年4月から提供しているカードレスデビット決済サービス（注1）「じぶん銀行スマホデビット」が、「Banking Technology Awards 2019」（注2）において「Best Mobile Initiative」（最優秀モバイルサービス賞）を受賞したことをお知らせします。
今年度の当アワードにおいて、日本企業の受賞はじぶん銀行のみです。
■「Banking Technology Awards」について
「Banking Technology Awards」は、英国に本拠地を置く Informa PLC（注3）のグローバルに展開するデジタルメディア「FinTech Futures」が例年開催している、バンキングテクノロジー分野における先進事例を表彰するグローバルアワードです。当アワードは2019年で開催20周年を迎え、各部門の受賞者が2019年12月5日にロンドンで開催された授賞式にて発表されました。
同授賞式において、じぶん銀行は以下の3点が評価され、「Best Mobile Initiative」（最優秀モバイル部門賞）を受賞しました。
- カードレスで「バーチャル」なデビットカードをわずか30秒で簡単に即時発行でき、利便性をお客さまに提供できている点。
- カードレスなデビット決済サービスの提供を通じて、日本政府（経済産業省）が掲げる「キャッシュレス化」の取り組みを官民一体となって推進している点。
- 従来型のプラスチック製のカードを発行せず、カードレスなデビット決済のみを通じて、オンラインとオフラインの双方で利用可能な「日本初」（注4）のサービスを提供している点。

「じぶん銀行スマホデビット」は、じぶん銀行が、株式会社ジェーシービー（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役会長兼執行役員社長：浜川 一郎）と提携し、2019年4月より提供開始したカードレスのデビット決済サービスです。じぶん銀行の口座をお持ちのお客さまであれば審査不要・最短30秒で発行できる点や「キャッシュレス・消費者還元事業」の決済手段として、本事業の最大5％還元を“現金で”受けることができることなども多くのお客さまに評価いただいています。
